Pilot Officer L. Harvey (O211749) was granted the acting rank of Flight Lieutenant on the 5th of December 1963 whilst serving with the Special Duties Branch, Air Force Reserve.
On the 6th of August 1970 he was awarded the Cadet Forces Medal while serving in the Royal Australian Air Force, Air Force Reserve.
This is a scarce award confirmed to an Australian serving in the RAAF with only 273 medals listed as being awarded to the Air Force.
