Notes: GST - The Gesellschaft fur Sport und Technik.  "Sport & Technology Association" was one of the East German "Mass Organisations".  Established to structure free time of young people interested in sports & technology in group activities. The association also contributed to the militarisation of East German Society by organising together with the national People's Army, the country's mandatory pre-military training in schools, universities and workplaces.  Established 7/8/52 and disbanded in early 1990.
