William Fenton was born in Cobram, Victoria on the 30th of July 1922. He enlisted in the RAAF on the 30th of January 1942 and was allocated service number 410473.
William, an Aircrew Trainee Observer aboard Anson AW 678, was Killed when the aircraft he was in crashed at Reedy Creek, near Kingston, S.A on the 11th of August 1942. Details of the accident are unknown, however the plane was a “total wreck and burnt.” The Pilot and all five crew did not survive the crash.
